A Community Resilience Plan helps people in the community understand the local risks and how to work together, to respond, and recover from an emergency event.
It's helpful for your marae to have a plan to get through in an emergency, as well as a plan for looking after whānau. The Marae Emergency Preparedness Plan is designed to help marae be as prepared as possible in the event of a natural disaster or emergency. It encourages whānau, hapū and iwi to:
